There have been similar threads about this but none answered this question...

I have Unblock-Us but they currently don't support http://www.rugby.livesport.tv for the Super 15 and Rugby Championship.

I need to appear to be in one of these countries http://www.rugby.livesport.tv/promo/rugbygeo to do that.

Obviously with Unblock-Us I can change my Netflix region to Sweeden for example, but that doesn't work with the livesport site. They said they will add it to their request list but I'm not holding my breath.

So, does anyone know how I can appear to be in Denmark, Taiwan, Finland etc?  Do I need to set up another provider like Unotelly, or can I use http://public-dns.tk/ and find and use a server and only route the livesport traffic through it?

Cheers!

have you tried the Hola app. You can be in any country by the click of the mouse, works well with Netflix and i just use Chromecast to cast the stream  to my TV.

it is listed on unotellys site as one of the sites they unblock, you could use their 8 day trial to test it out?
otherwise like the other reply you could try the hola unblocker extension

Thanks man, great suggestion. Unfortunately it's not working. Have tried setting it to Germany, Finland and Sweeden and still can't see the Super Rugby listings. Could my Unblock-Us be causing issues with Hola?

It's now working via Hola Unblocker. I left it for an hour and logged back on and it's all good. I'm logged on from the Netherlands. Result.

My first impressions of rugby.livesport.tv was not very good. I attempted to watch the Highlanders v Reds on Friday; the picture quality was up and down, lots of buffering, at times the sound dropped out completely. There are no cached games; you have to watch it live. Compared with Premier League Pass and NFL Game Pass it was not up to scratch. At one point I switched to an illegal stream and got a better experience.

I will give it another go next week but at this rate I will cancel it unless there is a major improvement in quality.

I'm gutted, I hoped this would be my new way of watching Super 15 and All Blacks but it's just not good enough to part with my cash.

I'll be doing my annual quest for F1 options again soon.  Falls into the same category.  Sadly very happy to pay if there is a reasonable above board source available, but there isn't in NZ.

Gave up on satellite a few years back after it became clear that streaming was the way of the future.

This was interesting:

Looks like you need to get a VPN for Estonia or Romania, lol...some of those prices are crazy.

I recommend people stay away from hola unless you're happy running a tor exit node.
Since the app sets you up to be an exit node. So if anyone downloads anything dodgy via your connection then you could be up for it.

Hi there, new to all of this streaming as always had sky sport and no internet. now we have decent internet (100gb/ month and high speed) i have been searching and searching for a way to watch the super 15 by streaming it. I thought apple tv might have helped but that hasn't either so back to the drawing board. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There was a discussion going on about sport streaming in the Sky forum as well - might be worth setting up a dedicated thread where we can all share our findings and solutions, as a lot of people are looking for a decent legal sport streaming solution.

I'd be very interested in current (legal) sites that stream super 15, even if a vpn is required to acccess them. Anyone?

Actually, I had to try a couple of german locations, but with it set to the right one on astrill it looks like I might be able to get it through rugby.livesport.tv. What experiences have people had with it? Is it legit and decent quality?

I signed up for a month and gave up after two weekends trying to watch the Hurricanes. Unfortunately the quality was not up to scratch. The actual picture was ok but it paused a lot and the navigation was horrible.

I was expecting something like Premier League Pass or NFL Game Pass but it was terrible in comparison.

Setanta is supposed to be better, you'll need a VPN/DNS to access.
