I have a US Paypal account set up to pay Netflix. However the account wnats to verify my credit card even though I don't want to use the credit card for payment. I will just transfer funds from my NZ paypal account.
However while I can load the US account ok I cannot access the money until such time as I fill out the credit card details including social security number last 4 digits etc.
How did others deal with this obstacle

I just updated my US PayPal with a new NZ credit card. I used a valid US address as the billing address and that did it for me.

Just make sure you use a zero sales tax state as your address you give.

All very well being in 90210, but oregon and one other is cheaper.

So many solutions. Does anyone know if Kiwibank debit card works OK or is it better to go with the NZ Post Loaded for Travel cards?
I only really want to pay US Paypal and have tried my current visa card and paypal don't like it
The travel card seems a lot of work considering I have no desire to travel so it would just be extra work loading it etc.
Any help appreciated

I was able to add my NZ card to a US paypal account, but it wouldnt charge anything to it from the likes of sony and microsoft etc who are picky.

In the end I just send money to my USA account from my NZ one, paying the percent or 3 that paypal charge to "pay a friend" and then can spend from paypal balance ok fine with sony and microsoft.

I dealt with this problem by using an Air New Zealand OneSmart card and entering the card number into the Netflix payment page directly. Meant I didn't have to bother with a US PayPal account and applying for/getting the card wasn't a hassle at all. I direct a few $$ per fortnight from my pay into it.

I tried using an us PayPal account which had money but when I try to him up Netflix it takes me to papal which insists on a us credit card. Only get two options full in us card number and social security number or return to Netflix really weird
