I notice with Netflix USA that they offer a DVD companion service I wonder if this will come to NZ.

That's a pity, the increased library is really good for searching for older movies etc. Maybe one day.

I think the lack of replies to this may be that people didn't think you were serious!
Netflix started out with the DVD model and has moved into the streaming market. This (the DVD side of things) is extremely unlikely to happen in New Zealand as they wouldn't want the cost of implementing the physical service.

Edit: for clarity

Don't forget your local public library.

You can search for DVDs online, order online and they'll send you an email when it's arrived. You keep it for a week. All for $2.

I've been using it for older titles.

I think that's pretty good.

All fair comments guys don't hang me :); the only reason I bought this up was that there have been a few times when we (my wife) has searched on Netflix only to be directed to their DVD service seems they offer an integrated solution in the US.

From wiki:

"On September 18, 2011, Netflix announced its intentions to rebrand and restructure its DVD home media rental service as an independent subsidiary company called Qwikster, totally separating the DVD rental and streaming services."
