Ohh yes..

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup.

I'm guessing it's not in HD? Would rather wait till it airs legally to see it in HD ...

Was leaked from a screener DVD, so 480p is the best they can do apparently.

This is the first time a show is going to be made available simultaneously in so many countries, and look what happens.

Sending out all this stuff ahead of time around the world just makes leaks like this all the more likely, so you can be pretty sure HBO will look at this and think "ah well, I guess we won't bother with this whole 'global release' thing anymore. The experiment failed"

Ah well, at least they can console themselves that nobody will bother downloading it because, as we all know, SD quality is simply not good enough.

oh wait "The torrents on popular sites Kickass and Torrentz have amassed almost 30,000 downloads within an hour. "

Or they could stop sending things out and have a secure way of delivering screeners to the people that are authorised to view them and noone else.

I imagine that is how they do it already, but anything that can be put on a screen can be leaked, whether DVD or stream.  The more versions they need to send out ahead of time, the more likely a leak will happen.

Can't vouch for the veracity of the information, but I read it was from translators.

So was the episodes missing the bottom and top of the show?  I know that movie companies send the videos out with the users name etched into the top and bottom of the screen to stop this kind of thing with early screeners releases

I believe there is a blurred out watermark in the bottom left corner.
