Common sense is not as common as you think.

The NRL stream all their games live and catch-up here: https://livestream.com/nrl - it's region blocked though and I'm not sure which unblocking service covers it. I have Unotelly and it didn't work. You can always send a request to them to add it, though.

I have Sky, but tried Hola and something else recommended in GZ who's name escapes me currently. Both worked. There are concerns about Hola however regarding it using your PC as a transit point for other users.

Yep. Have been suing Livestream for NRL for over a year now.

Like the above poster said I too was using Hola! however a couple of weeks ago uninstalled it because of all the Drama surrounding it. I have since installed Zenmate and put my location as Germany and that works (I was using Sweden before).

FWIW: sometimes I find if I load up Livestream from here n NZ with no VPN it will let me watch the games either live or on replay. It doesn't happen often though, but you can generally find at least 1 game per week.

i can access livestream via unotelly, is that free?

digitalpass is ok on a small screen.

i think sky also have a RU, RL and f1 weekly package, but ive never seen it in use.

hola is ok but slows everything down to unbareable depending on the site. also got a lot of malware when using it.

how, where?

Thanks wink

I used to have a plugin for google, and extension I think it's called that allowed me to view the region blocked BBC iPlayer from Chrome.
I needed to use the Chrome Canary browser as the normal one blocked the extension.

Is there anything like this up and running these days?

i find hola works better on chrome that mozilla for some reason. but yeah, still a chuga lug.

i might give unblock a try, the unotelly channel thing has me a bit confused, im sure i have it right but the terminology could be better, ie instead of channel 1, 2 ,3 they could have used Group 1,2,3
