I came across this:

https://acorn.tv/browse/browseall

Which offers some good British tv.  I do access iplayer and netflix, but at $4.99 pcm it seems a good deal.  I notice it is listed on the getflix site as accessible with a region change.

Anyone have any feedback on this service?

No information about the company, etc, etc. Sounds dodgy but then the parent company seems to be http://www.rljentertainment.com/ so who knows for sure?

It says "Available in the US and Canada" so you need a VPN?

Just to update this old thread, the service has been officially launched in New Zealand now - existing discussion here.
