Anyone else only having the option of choosing the Netflix Region and nothing else on both computer, mobile apps?

Have sent a ticket to support but wondering if its just me, (Have looked on My account and my Mum's account as well and shows same thing)

Yep. On my iphone it just comes up region picker.

There's nothing else in list, click on it and up comes the Netflix regions only.

Wonder what's going on?

I sent them a message earlier and got the following response:

The Dynamo option has been temporarily restricted due to pressure from external parties. We will update you once we have solution.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you for using UnoTelly!

Looks to be all functional still although "Netflix" has been renamed to "Region Picker"

Yeah - just noticed this myself. Interestingly all references to the word "Netflix" seem to have been removed from the unotelly website and the unotelly status page has been removed, along with all old support notes etc.

I had some strange issues on the Netflix US region on my Nvidia shield TV device last night (that I had never seen before) - I ended up having to cast Netflix to the Shield TV from my Nexus 5.. Its all working 100% fine this morning.

I hope Unotelly can resolve this but I'd guess the Netflix Lawyers have been after them (after pressure from the rights holders), so suspect their days are numbered (along with other DNS providers).

Might be time to switch to a smaller DNS provider. Unotelly seems to have a big target on its back.

I will give them one week then cancel my account, I have just renewed mine before the Netflix saga, UnoTelly have been great since I signed up a few years ago.

It doesn't make sense that the Netflix region picker is still up if UnoTelly is in trouble so something is up and the support is removed from Facebook (Posting to the wall) and Twitter isn't much use anymore as they are directing to the help support site.

I did receive a reply email from them but didn't help, no timeframe no other options, ziltch.

If so what would be the next best thing in terms of DNS services, would like to hear from someone who used to be with UnoTelly, even if you send a link to another thread in the archives.

If Unotelly is still working, as someone mentioned, is there any need to change at all ?

* UnoTelly should only be used for privacy protection purpose only *

* Any other usage is not permitted *

Says it all really. Reminds me of Napster/Limewire/Emule legal sagas.

Its working, the public appearance hides the Dynamo, but the URL still works /dynamo

It can go either way, they are either hiding content to avoid being in trouble or are slowly dying into a service or a new service where I can be fully censored on what I access, which is not too bad either.

The avert at the top of the page here on geekzone, has unotelly unlock instantly Netflix ,bbc I player , Hulu etc.

They'll have to change their add now as it no longer does all the things, plus looks like it's not allowed to be promoted that way.

Dynamo restored to website, all operations back to normal only change is new UI design and approach to the business as well as removing Netflix (The word Netflix) from anything on the website, the region switcher is still there.

Hopefully that keeps the wolves at bay. Marketing themselves as security and privacy is gold. Be interesting to see how they respond to tickets regarding certain channels not working.

I also envision most of their new business will be word of mouth with regards the usefulness of a DNS unblocker.

Unblock us , Overplay have also removed all reference to Netflix, Hulu etc. Getflix remains very overt with its advertising, that will probably change soon.

My appletv / netflix/ unotelly is now being blocked.

No details on how to fix this.

[edit] got it working -- needed to change dynamo from US legacy ADA to USBlend.

Phew.

^ Thank you, that fixed it for me. I started getting the proxy message today too.

I noticed they have deleted their twitter today and have removed all posts and anyone's ability to comment on their page from Facebook. I guess I'll have to switch to another service. Unblock-Us has also done the same.
