looks like I'll be finding another way:
Rugbypass seems to work in
Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
FanPass? Its not overseas, but at $15 for the day, and solid quality, it seems a logical choice
ask Microsoft for their secret employee VPN?
I would have thought any overseas service would require a dns or vpn service.

I second Fanpass - when I used it to watch the cricket over the summer it was excellent. At $15 a one-day pass will save you a lot of mucking around. Rugbypass will work if you have a DNS unblocker or a VPN. You won't find an overseas provider streaming unblocked into New Zealand because Sky have exclusive rights. If you don't mind an hour delay, it'll be free on Prime at 8.30pm.

I also feel the NZ commentary adds a lot of value

Not if the commentator is Justin Marshall :P
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
BBC usually shows the Welsh games...

I'm going to try Rugbypass, who does the commentary for NZ games, AB's, Super Rugby?

What did you mean when you said "overseas"?
I'm in USA, but have the ability to "appear" that I'm in several other countries
Anyway I've found that it is playing live on free to air ESPN here in US, so the kiwi mafia rugby party in Seattle is going ahead
