Hi everyone,

I work in the YouTube UX Research Team and we are currently seeking out YouTube Red users in New Zealand for a 1 week diary study taking place soon.

If you (or your friends and family) are currently in the Red trial or are post-trial subscribers, you could qualify!

We are also doing a diary study with non-users, so you could qualify even if you are not a Red subscriber. Please fill out the questionnaire linked below, and feel free to forward this to friends and family so they too can participate and receive a thank you gift!

Details of the diary study are as follows:

  • Dates: July 27th - Aug 2nd
  • Length: 2 Comprehensive surveys (Days 1 and 7), 5 mini surveys (Days 2-6)
  • Location: Online surveys (remotely from your computer)
  • Your gift:  You’ll receive a $110 Bank transfer (EFT) or a $110 gift from our incentives distributor as a token of our appreciation

I’m interested in participating! Click here: https://goo.gl/5vr1kS

Have questions about our study? Feel free to reply to this post or send me a personal message.

We'll be in touch if you look like the right fit for our study!

Note: you won't receive a gratuity for filling out the questionnaire. You'll receive the thank you gift if you are selected to participate and complete all necessary components of the study.

Thanks,
Sarit

There is a link but it is not clickable. Seems legit and I filled out the form it sends you to. It never asked for a password so that raised my confidence :)

this might sound crazy,  but since you are google and own youtube,  wouldn't it be easier to email people in your database that you already know are Youtube red subs and also live in NZ, instead of posting messages on random discussion forums?

Heh are you giving away free Red Subscriptions? If I had it then I would give you some feedback on it :)

NonPrayingMantis: Thanks for the thought, I suggested this as well, but it's not an option because of Google's Policies about opting in for usability studies.

Networkn: Not giving away free subscriptions unfortunately, but you can do a free one month trial :) We're also looking for non-users though, so you might still be able to participate!

Good question, we're still working out the the possibilities, but it will either be $110 NZD via bank transfer or $110 USD Visa gift card.

Sorry for the hijack but didn't want to make a new topic for it, and since it's about youtube, can you @ people in the comments of a video ? I can't seem to make it work ?

No worries! I don't actually work on the product myself (I'm a research participant coordinator), but it should work if you type + and then the name. If that doesn't work I'll be happy ask the researcher.

Let me know!
