Have new tablet running Android 5.1 . Tvnz ondemand loads but won't run content. Tv3 app streams live content beautifully, but won't play on demand. Gofigure. What's the point?

What are the specs/brnad of the tablet ?

 

I had a cheap $75 7" that shipped rooted from China and TVNZ app would not run as the device was rooted.
