Anyone know why Netflix NZ doesn't have season 2 of the Expanse?

Sky had the first run rights to the original season, perhaps they hold them for the second one too?

Series 2 has already screened on sky.

And series 3 has been approved according to wikipedia.

I could loan it to you, if you like? You have to promise to give it back when you're done.

It would be nice to know somethings definitely coming to Netflix.
It's just wait and see, but usually when they have season 1 they carry it on,
Quite a bit of stuff can be out for a year plus before Netflix shows it.

Pretty sure that Season 1 didn't turn up on Netflix until Season 2 had started playing in the US. I assume it will be the same for Season 2... wait until Season 3 starts airing in the US.

Sadly LightBox also only has Season 1

Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC a Technology Evangelist and Product Manager. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

It looks like other countries already have season 2 on Netflix. So maybe Sky has the rights and we won't get it on Netflix

the same thing happen with season 1 - everywhere but USA, Canada & NZ Netflix got season 1 on netflix, then later we got season 1 - about the same time as season 2 came out - guessing sky have exclusive rights for 1 year in NZ, before other streaming providers can then buy the rights, like netflix & lightbox current have for season 1.

If you can't wait for Netflix, the Season 2 Blu-Ray set on Amazon.com is region-free and looks great on a HD screen.
