I have an LG OLED TV that supports both HDR10 and Dolby Vision.

I remember (I think?) prior to COVID there would be Netflix titles offered in HDR10 (depicted by an HDR button) and others had other formats such as in Dolby Vision, Ultra High 4K or just HD.

I can't seem to find any titles in HDR format any more. Has this been completely superceded by Dolby Vision?  Everything is either Dolby Vision, 4K or HD.

I still get HDR10 on Amazon Prime Video (my TV goes into HDR mode and an icon shows in the top right),  but none of the 4K titles on Netflix produce the same effect.

Thanks in advance to anyone in the know.

Dolby Vision should default back to HDR10 on TV sets that dont have Dolby Vision capability. The Netflix App depending on your device should show what format it can playback depending on the TV. A non Dolby Vision set will show HDR on the app. Dolby Vision is a "better" HDR Format vs HDR10. A quick google will explain the differences. In my Opinion Dolby Vision looks fantastic on Netflix and i Have a 65" OLED as well. You also realise that when in Dolby Vision mode the LG TVs use special picture presets setup for it. You havent changed it to something else?

Thanks for the explanation. I was under the impression that there were some shows that were ONLY HDR10 and I couldn't see them, but it sounds like everything that's available in HDR10 is also available in Dolby Vision and that is what I'm seeing.

As per above, if your device can handle Dolby Vision then that's what you'll see. If it doesn't but it does support HDR10 that it will default to that.
