Any thoughts ?
On the plus side it seems to have recent stuff like The Last Of Us and The White Lotus, on the minus, no 4K (join the 20th century people...), and does it really not have apps for the Shield, or Fire TV, or XBox ?

Won't give Sky a cent of my money for Neon until they sort their PQ and sound out - agree no 4K (or (even more important in my eyes [or to my ears]) discrete audio is a disgrace in 2023.
It's a shame as there's a good amount of content I'd like to have legit access to, but I simply wouldn't watch something like The Last of Us without quality picture and sound.
Their Android app is awful - push a button, wait 2-3 seconds for it to respond. It used to be fine but they broke it with an update. Content is ok. If you use an Android TV box you don't want Neon until they fix it.
So, basically good stuff but badly presented. Well, 1080 is bluray resolution, and I still buy those, but I presume more compressed and with worse sound. Sigh, there's always something...

From a personal perspective I find the movie selection pretty rubbish but they have a good TV series selection. I often find the movies on there are also available on other platforms so you won't miss much movie wise if you don't go for it.
Not being 4K etc doesn't bother me, I'm normally watching NEON on my phone so it doesn't matter.
It's a clunky platform with average content and an expensive price. I cancelled my subscription a while ago.
I don't think Sky really understand how this market is evolving.
I get Neon just for HBO because HBO has produced many of my favourite series and movies.
While I really enjoy good audio and video, I can get by with Neon’s limited options because I really enjoy good shows and good stories.
Increasingly, shows on other services are spending up on some amazing graphics while the overall quality of the show drops in other areas e.g. Wheel of Time, Rings of Power.
P.S. Neon is my #2 based on having Neon, Netflix, Prime, Apple+, YouTube Premium, and SkyTV in the house.
They have some good content.
The app deployed to Samsung TV's is a bit limited. No skip intro or sip recap. No automatic next episode system. These are common features in
Also (and this is infuriating) it regularly logs you out.
But I put up with it because the content is good.
The lack of 4K/Dolby whatever isn't a dealbreaker for me. My eyesight and hearing aren't that great anyway 🤠
