Hi,

How to increase You Tube volume on my laptop? Volume on You Tube videos is at max, so are laptop speakers. No problem with YT on TV and phone, just laptop. I've checked all my settings and am at a loss now, can anyone help please?

Assuming it is windows as mac users always say what they are using, have you checked that chrome/edge/whatever isn't turned down in the windows mixer? Right click the volume icon and choose open mixer and each app has its own slider, sometimes more than one for some apps because of their child processes.

Had similar issue on my desktop with sound volume generally.

So I installed Equalizer APO and that allowed me to boost gain (by sound device, not app) and mess with frequencies in the equalizer - and that has done the trick for me.

Could give the Enhancer for YouTube™ extension a go. Turn on the Volume Booster option.

Hi, yes sorry forgot to mention, Windows 11.

I had previously done what you suggested but Chrome did not show up in the mixer, so I tried that again, still it was only showing 2 other apps and an option to "reset sound for all apps" but no info on which apps! Anyway, I clicked reset and then Chrome showed up and was at 100%.

It has improved the volume so now I can hear without straining my ears, so thank you very much. It's still not loud (not that I really want loud) but maybe the option would be good, I guess I would need to install something else as per the suggestions below?

Thanks again for your help 😃
