This is the problem. How many other cases like this, where the person is a carrier but shows no symptoms. Apparently according to the Minstry of Health, the risk of catching it from someone asymptomatic is low, but don't think there has been any research into this, for this particular virus.
Also I see the MOH are now using some new standard for identifying which people on the plane are most at risk from a carrier. Apparently it is a new 'european' standard...
Does NZ only test people who are showing symptoms, and have some connection to recent overseas travel?
