It's poor form to wish a company to go broke and the people it employs to lose their jobs. Here's something different: 

Hopefully, people will exercise restraint and eat at this establishment in moderation, so they can enjoy the food but not get ill from overindulgence.

Just wondering, as an aside, given your strong feelings toward fast food joints. Do you picket outside any cafe or bar or fish and chip store in your area that opens that sells chips, or burgers?

There is no reason to think Taco Bell won't do well in NZ.

That said, I wouldn't miss McDonalds, Burger King or Taco Bell in NZ. The typical quality at those places leaves a lot to be desired. For some reason McD and BK seem to have a much lower quality in NZ than some other countries I know them from.

But I don't think my opinion of them should mean nobody else should have access to them.

You have made many comments and been called out on them before, which is why I keep saying that. I can't find any specific references this minute, but if I can find some I'll repost them to you. 

Please do. As I have stated, I have no particular dislike of large American corporates. They create a lot of neat stuff and they give a lot of people jobs. My dislike is of unethical and dishonourable behaviour, whatever the source.

I am trying hard to remember the thread, it was a decent sized one, I can't quite bring it to memory. I guess the overarching impression I have, is that you feel that large corporates are greedy, untrustworthy and other bad words. (I recall a discussion being held about appropriate profits and CEO remunerations too).  Anyways, we are off topic. If I can find the thread I'll PM you. I recall @tdgeek was involved in that thread, maybe he can recall.

I would do the fastest food around. I can turn an egg into something you'd happily pay money for in under 2 minutes (scrambled). 

I am fairly critical of some aspects of American society (not all of them) and I also have issues with excessive CEO remuneration but I do not think that large corporations are by definition greedy, untrustworthy and other bad words, though some certainly are. I can't imagine I actually said that, but if I did, I take it back. It is not what I believe.

I do recall, many years ago, reading an article about a psychologist who gave several big corporations a standardised personality test, creating responses from public information as if they were the answers of an individual. Every single corporation he tested emerged with an extremely high psychopathology score. I thought that was amusing.

I cannot recall one actually @Networkn I did think of one of the Sky threads, but the profits and CEO package are reasonable and typical, so it cannot be that one. Plus they also provide a lot of neat stuff, so that rules them out.

Personally, I'd find that study silly. You can't apply the personality traits of a human to a non-human entity run by humans. It's an entirely different set of priorities.  The guy obviously had too much time on his hands.

Plus they are ethical, not overcharging and have been a good and stable employer in NZ for many years. :) I agree it definitely wasn't one of the Sky Threads.

It does seem to be advertorial.

My gut feeling though is that for example a corn taco with presumably some beans, some meat, some tomato/lettuce/cheese, is a far better/healthier food choice than the contents of entire aisles at the supermarket (biscuit and lolly aisles for example), probably much better than good old kiwi "fish and chips", the food cabinets at the local bakery /cake shop, so-called "healthy" smoothie stall or Mr Whippy van etc.

I suggest you wave a protest banner outside a "Dunkin Donuts" store. IMO that's about as toxic a "food choice" as possible, parents should be flayed for offering such vile gutrot (IMO) as a "treat".
