Thanks. I'd also expect the annual WOF is more than enough to manage the brakes, suspension, lights, and chassis maintenance check
No WOF required for first 3 years.

NZ’s main Tesla tow bar installer that Michael mentioned travels the country to do installs - guess how, until recently, he transported the tow bar parts? On a trailer attached to his Model 3! (Now does so with a Y.) Would be interesting to note what weight he transported on that, but imagine it could start off pretty weighty…
I’d be completely happy to have had a tow bar installed on a Model 3, given o/s certification and the history of successful usage in NZ, as it’s a matter of (very low) risk vs reward (actually being able to take cr@p to the tip, now we’re an EV-only household). When I had one fitted to my last car I recall the warnings from the manufacturer about not getting the ‘official’ install (at around three times the price), but given the chance of a problem occurring, and there also being the evidence that the non-certified tow bar caused the problem, is so low I was willing to take that risk.
As it happens, the Y doesn’t have the 3’s problem in that it’s certified to tow in NZ, but obviously the official tow bar (when it finally arrives) won’t be cheap - an additional $1k over what I paid to get mine installed. Finally put it to the use for the first time last week:

Rav4 hybrid - More powerful than the Prius alpha at 160kW, only uses a touch more fuel (4.7 vs 5.3L/100km), but in very short supply. 6+ month waits for a new one, and high prices in the used market.
Toyota have stopped orders on most of the Rav4 Hybrid range now, I ordered mine Oct 21 and it still hasn't arrived.
michaelmurfy: @tdgeek yeah I believe dealer tax on the BYD Atto 3 in Australia as the supplier there is a bit of a tosser. In NZ with most dealers you don’t get that but there are a few who will claim a service is required to get extra cash money. They don’t do anything also apart from a safety check and topup the wiper fluid.
I read somewhere that it gets expensive to service when they change the battery cooling flued.

Pity they didn't sell the RAV4 Prime here. (PHEV)

"Your Battery coolant should not need to be replaced for the life of your vehicle under most circumstances."
I don't think there are any EV's out there that require fluid replacements at all.
