Yesterday I filled up in Whangarie and paid $1.699 a litre for 91 ... why when I look out of my window here do I see 91 selling for $1.999 a litre ?

Does a 34,000 litre fuel tanker really cost $10,000 to drive from Marsdon Point to the Auckland ?

Or is there some extra Auckland tax that the petrol stations have to pay ?

Just curious :-)

find a gull station and any competitor around there will have low prices, gull are usually the ones to keep the price low and the rest just follow.

the local station to us is normally .12c dearer than the likes of takinini, so we fill up there (wife works down those ways).

i paid $1.739 at lunch time.

you just need to know where to go to get the best deal
