Oh dear.
A week ago, Mike Hosking was making a point about speed limits. His argument was sound, but he got a little carried away in his estimation of his own abilities.
Since joining Hampton Downs and taking my car round a track at 220km/h I have not crashed, will not crash, and have concluded I am vastly less likely to be in trouble on a track than I am on a road.
In the media business, making predictions like that is often considered to be invoking the "commentator's curse". And it seems that Karma was listening intently to Mike's proclamation.

...at least he's taking it with good humour ;-)
