Hi, I'm going to buy a motorcycle and this is the first time for me. So I have a look on trademe and found a 125cc bike that I'm really interested with the odometer is 30k+ (via pics + detail in the listing). The problem is that the odometer on carjam is 160,773 last in the last inspection (picture below).
So I think that it should be some problem with the carjam website as it is hard to travel more than 400km per day with the bike, it should be 16,773 km in the last inspection would be more reliable. So what do  you guys think ? The bike's location is far away from me so I need to flight there and ride it back (if I buy it) so I want to make sure everything is alright before make a booking then.
Thanks,

P/S: sorry I was accidental deleted the previous post when update the image.

I'd say 400km a day, sustained, is pretty much impossible on a 125cc bike.  So your assumption is reasonable... probably the mechanic just entered it wrong when doing the inspection.

Look at the graph of the odometer history - it's usually easy to spot the value that's a typo.

Common ones are not knowing if it's gone round the clock, so missing the leading digit, or being out by a factor of 10 due to the last dial reading a decimal place.

Updated the odo graph. Thanks, so for now I can say that 80% that it is a from the carjam aye. So let say I'm going to take it, so is there anyway for me to correct the info on the carjam website or it will be there forever ?

From memory, there's info on the carjam site near the odo data that advises who to contact for correction.

Inspectors often get the odo reading wrong or is simply a keying error.

there is bad info on carjam and it's near impossible to make corrections.

if it just up like that then the next reading it jumps back down its normally due to the above.

nothing on carjam is 100% accurate
