"Video footage showing the large motorbike driving down a busy road without anyone on it went viral last month.

But now the driver has explained what happened.

The Parisian had been knocked from his bike in a road accident – while the bike carried on driving down the A4 Autoroute in France.

Now Le Parisien has hunted down the driver who said when he was knocked off his bike the driver of the car helped him look for his bike.

He was then rushed to hospital having suffered an arm injury."
