Found this weird bag in the GFs used mini cooper... anyone able to identify?

Some parts of it seem to be made from the same material as the seatbelts.

The official mini badge on it.

Thinking it could be for the service manual and other paperwork belonging to the car?

Could be. But there is a spare wheel mounted under the car.

Much classier bag than that used by the New Zealand branch of the Ford Motor Company in the 1970's.  If you bought a brand new Ford car in those days the jack and tyre lever would be put in a brown 'sugar bag'.  I kid you not!
