Electronic parking brake (EPB) may not operate properly. This may result in inability to release the parking brake. Or in some cases, it may prevent the parking brake from being applied.

What to do

Owners of New Zealand new Subaru Legacy and Outback, model year 2010-2014 (not registration year) should contact their local authorised Subaru dealer to check if their vehicle is affected, and/or complete a booking for the recall completion to occur free of charge.
