Just got an email saying that the Click Monday deals were now on. Followed the link to the shop I was interested in but being cautious about following email links I stopped before entering any credit card details, and went to www.clickmonday.co.nz which says that it's not happening this year! Huh?

I have gone to the dealers webpage directly which does say that the deals are on but I am now dubious about buying anything wondering if it's some kind of scam, particularly given the main clickmonday website says it ain't happening.

Any thoughts?

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Normally this gets a great deal of build up but this year nadda. Clickmonday Facebook page is also devoid of any info for 2017. Emblem used in the email matches the clickmonday website.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Yeah, it looks like they fixed that typo in the email they sent out.

I would assume that there may not have been enough interest from retailers to participate (hence "Click Monday 2017 is no longer going ahead" on their website), however some still decided to put on their promotion anyway, so Click Monday decided to send out an EDM about it.

All the links in the email like to the proper websites so I wouldn't be concerned about scams.

I took a look at Clickmonday a few years back, but nothing really felt like a truly amazing deal.

PB Tech had some good prices last Monday, but some items were sold out by 8pm (when the deals only started at 6pm). Guess you need to be in quick for the good stuff.
