Normally $398, this is the cheapest it has been in awhile, and probably the cheapest UHD Blu Ray player that supports Dolby Vision at the moment (even if it is an annoying manual DV switch).

You need to sign up to the JB HiFi Instant Deals mail-list online to receive the unique coupon, but once received, you can use it in-store or online with the corresponding code.

Decent price.

Good for physical discs except for the dopey manual selection of Dolby Vision.

Poor as a digital media player.

Local JB also had an ancient Panasonic DMP-UB900 for $549, floor stock with box, scruffy exterior, Aug 2016 build date  😆

Agreed. I really wanted to get the Panasonic UB820, but couldn't quite justify the price, especially as pointed out, they generally make poor choices as a digital media player and I already have a Shield. The only thing I really want a blu ray player for is a physical media player.

I also had a $100 giftcard, so it was really only $188!

There is some guy trying to hawk off a UB900 on TM; he started at $790 when even JB had them for $598, and now he is up to $990!
