This seems rather cheap so will be interested to see what others think about this:

Microsoft Office Software • GrabOne NZ

Office 2016 Home and Student (1 PC) - $35

Office 2019 Home and Student (1 PC) - $60

That seems suspiciously cheap.

If it's legit I'd grab one. I still use Office 2007 on my W10 PC, it works fine but will probably stop working eventually.

It's not legit it's volume licensing/grey market keys, legally should be taken down but I guess Grabone either don't care or don't know.

GrabOne says it's legit (seems pretty dodgy since retail is for Windows and Mac) - https://www.grabonestore.co.nz/new-zealand/microsoft-office-software-2/discuss

Anyone want to test a key and try here - https://setup.office.com/ 😉

Instructions said to activate over the phone, which I tried to do but it failed.

I also tried activating over the internet, but that also failed.

Looks like they did an initial offer that included Pro Plus - https://new.grabone.co.nz/electronics-computers/software/p/microsoft-office-software-1

Used a different name and have the same phone number as the offer in the OP.

I still use Office 98 on my W10 PC, so you should be fine for a while :)  On a similar note, my Adobe Cloud subscription seems to have finally stopped supporting Acrobat Pro XI, so I will have to find a workaround to avoid having to use the touch-pad-centric Fisher-Price interface of Acrobat DC.

Not for me....

https://new.grabone.co.nz/electronics-computers/software/p/microsoft-office-software-2

Also, you'd assume the licenses are only available to those actually doing courses via the supplier.

I wouldn't be touching these.

And the supplier is NOT selling at those prices off their own website
https://cheaptraining.com/course/microsoft-office-2016-home-student/

How to tell if its bogus ?
1) is the price far cheaper than genuine retail
2) if yes, then assume the worst .

Really not that hard to determine dodgy software sales .
Many who know better will buy MS software (Licenses)  at super cheap pricing regardless, then try to justify it . Some poor bugger(me) gets caught in the middle & prays it doesnt eventually all go bad .
