2nd Birthday offer.  Offer ends 11:59pm NZST on 23/08/2021.

Buy One 365 Day plan, Get One free (of the same plan).  Includes Kogan Mobile SIM card.

Vouchers expire at 11:59pm NZST on 30/09/2021, therefore only buy if you can use both vouchers before the end of September 2021.

This is a great deal if you're looking to switch two people to Kogan Mobile.  They use the Vodafone network and include 5G access (where available).

Plans include unlimited talk and text to NZ & AU standard numbers.  Includes MMS to NZ mobiles.  Includes calls to voicemail.

Data resets every 30 days.  The 15GB per 30 days plan works out to be $13.75 per person, per month (for two people).  This has got to be the cheapest plan available in NZ (either prepay or postpaid), with the only exception being the Kogan Mobile starter plan at $5 for the first month on the 15GB plan (which then reverts to standard pricing of $35 per 30 days).

The fine print:

~Valid for new and existing Kogan Mobile customers. Personal use only. Offer available on Kogan Mobile Prepay SMALL, MEDIUM and LARGE LARGE 365 Day plans purchased before 11:59pm NZST 23/08/2021 unless sold out prior or extended. Not available for commercial or resale purposes. After purchasing a buy one get one free offer, customers will be sent two 365 day Kogan Mobile vouchers via email for their chosen plan. Vouchers expire at 11:59pm NZST on 30/09/2021. Activation or recharge must be made before the voucher expiry date. Only one voucher can be used per activation or recharge. Vouchers do not stack. Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers.

My kogan plan expires in 2 days so this is good timing. I’ve been with them nearly a year with no issues.

Thinking about this for my son, would need to find someone to take the other 18GB plan......

Who do you call for support etc?

You chat with Kogan Mobile online. There is no call support number or anything.

In saying that in the almost 1 year of being with them I've only had 1 instance of having to use their support system and it was "OK at best".

If someone has a spare LARGE code I'll happily pay the $165. I already have a Sim so just need the voucher code.

I'm keen to get one and split it with you.. I also already have a SIM. Tried to PM you about this, but it looks like you have that feature turned off? Can you PM me?

I'm going to switch our six numbers from Skinny and Spark.

Currently I pay $2280 a year with four numbers on legacy 1.25GB rollover plans. With this deal I can have the four on 4GB plans and save $1450 a year or have all six on 15Gb and still save $1290.

It's a no brainer.

Only downside is we switched from VF to Skinny because the reception at home was horrendous, but that was 9 years ago so hopefully it's improved.

You could always buy a Vodafone Prepay SIM card from a supermarket (or similar) for $2 and load it with minimal credit to test it out at casual rates before committing to a year of service on a provider that uses Vodafone's network.  Seems like it would be worth it when you're transferring six lines of service and had previous Vodafone coverage issues.  You've got until 23 August to purchase the Kogan deal so you have a little bit of time.

For anyone new to Kogan buying the 365 day deal, it is worth getting the $5 prepay pack that has a sim and the large deal for 30 days, and once that has expired using the voucher code for the 365 day deal.

Just ensure you use the voucher code before 11:59pm NZST on 30/09/2021.

Would anyone like to go halves on a ‘small’ plan? (That’s the 1.5GB/month option.)

This is ideal for my teenager, so if there’s anyone else who needs one of these I’d be keen on splitting the cost - $80 each.

Please DM me if interested.

(I’ll also shift my wife and myself to the medium plan - I was with Kogan for a couple of years, and have found Skinny’s limitations on the length of texts really frustrating. I found the Kogan plan included MMS so it wasn’t an issue.)
