Nice to see how much margin they have in their speakers!!!

Yikes, being able to knock off $18,900 from speakers and still probably make a profit seems crazy. But having a look around Google, it doesn't look like their original price was inflated beyond what other stores list.

My favourite is the Focal - Sopra Stand - Speaker Stands (pair), $1,900 instead of $3,800. Wow, bargain :P

Real Music Company are no longer NZ Focal (or Naim) agents so have been discounting the line on and off since 2019.

t0ny: Anyone know how the focal in cieling compares with Sonos?

Sonos doesn't make in-ceiling speakers, they did / do partner with Sonance, a known and well respected CI brand to market some in-ceiling speakers.

If you're looking to compare Sonos powered speakers and Focal in-ceilings, that's like comparing a car and a jetboat.

Both designed to be completely different things.
