Hi, I have just moved to NZ from Australia and have read that I may be able to still access Australian TV while living here. Does anyone know if this can be done. Any information is appreciated Thanks

It is fairly easy to do in a variety of ways. Seven has been available for a long time on satellite. Not sure if it still is. Most people get Oz TV via the Internet, either apps or with a browser. FTA commercial channels as well as ABC and SBS are available this way. Officially you are not supposed to be able to get them as they are geo-blocked, but this is easy to get around with a VPN or DNS proxy. The simplest is the proxy. Many people here use DNS4ME. It is easy to set up but if you are not technically inclined, you may find some kind of prefabricated solution easiest.

Prefab solutions such as?...
Others here could tell you more than I can. I simply use a browser connected to the TV for all of my viewing, but I would imagine there are apps for Oz on-line channels on various devices like Apple TV, Roku, Kodi and many others. Or you can just use your phone and cast it to the TV.
A simple solution is just to use a browser like Chrome with a proxy like DNS4ME. This is very easy to set up. You can then stream any on-line channel through the browser. If your computer has HDMI out, you can also just plug it into the TV to watch it there. It is not difficult to do. Most FTA channels have live or VOD streaming sites. In addition to SBS and ABC iView, there is 7, Nine, 10 and catch-up TV and maybe others.

You can access all Oz channels, by using Kodi.

SBS is working here (along with all other Aussie channels and no need to change DNS).
Use Kodi and then follow this link:

SBS used to be sweet. I haven't used it for quite awhile because they have done everything possible to make it the biggest pain to use that they could. Now you also have to sign in. I made an account for just in case so I was able to just try it. At first I also couldn't get it to work, just a blank playback screen, but after several attempts it finally started. I was able to play and even download Full Metal jacket without any problem once it started working at all. I checked some comments and apparently they have been having a lot of issues lately. I don't know exactly what is going on but I just had it working after some initial hassle so all I can say is keep trying.
