There were two convoys. This was from the North Island, meeting in Palmerston North then Wellington: "The protestors left Palmerston North for Wellington at 6am on Tuesday morning and are expected to be joined by the South Island convoy at Parliament."

Oh I know that part, I was asking how did the South Island crowd get across Cook Strait from Picton? You can't board any of the ferries without a vaccine pass (which none of them would have) or a negative test (which I doubt any of them would know how to get).
It's all a pointless waste of time anyway - the PM has already said she won't meet with them - but it still depresses me that so many people are sucked in by their misguided "cause":
"He's not anti-vaccine but hasn't had the Covid vaccine. He's anti-mandate." - how the hell does that work?

How do people get across from South Island ?
Jetstar where vaccine pass regulations are more like the Pirate Code ?
Perhaps you will find certain people from Auckland jetting in,
motorbikes pre positioned for another manly exhibition.
Apparently in Canada 90% or more of Truckers are vaccinated.
Government has been showing a great deal of tolerance as there are many laws broken there.
Loss of trucks, licenses, and fines are all being held back in kindness to those that show little.
Indeed here we are already seeing illegal parking around our Parliament.
Unfortunately there is a lot of patronage money flowing around worldwide,
so to some creating events to stream and comment on is profitable.
I saw the convoy in Christchurch on Sunday afternoon, I was astonished at how many cars, trucks, buses and bikes there were, then as I biked towards the main route (Fitzgerald avenue) I was even more suprised to see thousands of local people lining the streets waving flags and banners.
I personally didn't even know the convoy was happening, but I think a lot of media and general public are surprised at the levels of support

Divide it by 400,000
Even if it is 1000 people, that's not even 1%.
Disappointed to see Winston Peters tweeting his support for these losers.

There is nothing Winston wouldn't do to get votes. Despite that, if it wasn't for him, I can only imagine the mess NZ would have been in if Labour had been allowed to execute some of their more poorly planned out policies.
Him and Tamaki are two peas in a pod in my opinion, though I'd rather have dinner with Winston than Brian.

I'm only talking one street and the length of 2km tops. Can you imagine if even 1/10 the length of NZ had similar?

So what are the no-hopers doing now? Just standing around outside Parliament talking loudly? Are they going to camp there forever?
Edit: okay, it looks like they will, or try to anyway. Wonder how long that's going to last: The protesters say they plan to stay in Wellington as long as they can. They have no intention to leave.
Anyone on the ground in Wellington able to see what's happening? Stuff seems to be the most up-to-date
What the hell is with the Trump flags? He doesn't care about the protesters or NZ.
We shouldn't be giving these idiots any oxygen. Ignore them
Tow and ticket their cars repeatedly until they FO.
