Labours latest bit of Subterfuge is just more fuel on the fire that our national Radio Station RNZ is a Red Biased Media Outlet.

Pretty much all media get accused of that, and if not then accused of going soft on perception of former right leaning views. It's all a bit silly those kind of accusations.

Actually not as silly as you think. Why couldn't they come clean about the meeting? If there's something to hide then it must be something that the public wouldn't like, and political bias ticks that box.

So Claire Curran repeatedly texted Hirschfield to arrange a meeting. There is more to this issue. Claire Curran will need to step down methinks.

Yeah but they were chance text messages, written by chance and sent by chance and the most amazing circumstance the met by chance at the same cafe. What are chances of that?  I could chance a guess.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

That's not the Ardern Way. She'll get a telling off. If you can not lose your job for mishandling allegations of sexual impropriety then why would you lose it for just having a meeting...surprised

Whilst I am not Fan of Labour policies, given how much time they spent talking about transparency and honesty, even if you are a hardcore Labour supporter, you have to be wondering WTF you did and if you aren't... Well...

I feel really disappointed Labour turned out to be another bunch of lying and dishonest politicians. Whilst I am not a fan of JA, I thought she might potentially have been redeeming qualities. What a let down she has turned out to be.

I kinda feel they are taking the piss. I am not impressed, I was hoping for more from JA I guess I was naive.

Apparently JA's comment that New Zealand does not "have Russian undeclared intelligence officers here", "If we did, we would expel them," has caused some mirth around the world.

The Guardian headline read "New Zealand says it would expel Russian spies ... but it can't find any".

Her advice came from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade which is part of Winnie's portfolio. Shouldn't it have come from the SIS?

Its all about the trappings of power coupled with gross inexperience and immaturity. We have seen it with Jackson making use of Defence assets for his own limo service...we have seen it in the past with using crown money to watch porn in hotel rooms.

They cant help themselves as they have never held high positions or positions of trust anywhere else. As such I dont trust many of JA's Ministers at all.

Even Aunty Helen couldn't control this mob....they are from too many parties and have way too much inexperience. It will come right for a few months, but it will turn to custard before the end of the year, and the media have got wind of it now and they wont let it go.

It is pathetic....once again she is showing gross incompetence in dealing with global affairs. If she is going to make statements like that she should have backed them up with some other form of penalty against Russia.

I thought it was funny that JA is minimizing the seriousness of being kept in the dark over the sexual assault at the camp, but her "idol" came out and said it was completely unacceptable and when asked what Clark would have done made it pretty clear heads would have rolled.

The tenure of the current GG is up possibly during the term of the coalition, it would be odds on that Helen Clarke would get the nomination assuming she wants it.
