This is some unsurprising (but good) news:

CASH-STRAPPED FOX FORCED TO SELL KEVIN MCCARTHY
NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—Reeling from its punishing settlement agreement with Dominion Voting Systems, the newly cash-strapped Fox News Channel has been forced to sell Representative Kevin McCarthy.
Rupert Murdoch, who acquired the Speaker of the House just two months ago, expressed sadness that new financial realities had necessitated the sale.
“I wish Kevin well,” the Fox owner said. “I hope whoever buys him finds him as useful as I did.”
Even as many in Washington expressed skepticism about the House Speaker’s market value, Murdoch’s plans to sell McCarthy faced a significant roadblock in the form of the Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
“Fox can't sell Congressman McCarthy,” she told reporters. “I own him.”

Whatever happened to "f--k your feelings"? Someone sure is acting all sulky about not getting to pick and choose the debates.

He needs to learn to shut his big lying mouth once in a while, even just for 5 minutes - if he doesn't, this will not end well for him.

Too true. But he won't, of course. Personally, I hope he keeps up the crazy rants. Interestingly, he hasn't actually appeared in the rape trial courtroom, relying instead on his loudmouth lawyer, a strategy that has been described as likely to have a negative impact on jurors. Chances are, once the deleterious effect of his absence becomes more obvious, I think he'll show up in person.
And that should be unmissable theater 😄

Reuters - Trump vows to investigate prosecutors, says Biden represents anarchy

"On day one of my new administration, I will direct the DOJ to investigate every radical district attorney and attorney general in America for their illegal, racist enforcement of the law," Trump told more than 1,000 supporters in Manchester, New Hampshire. ...
The call for federal probes of prosecutors fits what critics have described as Trump's increasingly authoritarian rhetoric on the campaign trail.
On Thursday, he repeated plans for a "truth and reconciliation commission" as part of a purge of the federal bureaucracy. ...
Trump on Thursday repeated the false claim that his election loss in 2020 was due to systemic fraud orchestrated by the Democrats.

kingdragonfly: Just hours into author E. Jean Carroll’s defamation and battery trial against former President Donald Trump, the judge appeared to have already lost his patience with Trump’s failure to confirm whether he’ll appear in person.
That's one thing that got drilled into us again and again during legal training (how to present evidence in court), do not piss off the judge. No matter how much cleverererer you are than them and how badly they're confusing the evidence you're presenting/talking about, don't talk down to them and do not piss off the judge. They're usually annoyingly detached, no-nonsense, and insist on sticking to rules and procedures, but if you annoy them sufficiently then they can apply those rules and procedures at you a bit more than to anyone else.
PS: Do not piss off the judge.
