Now end of next week?
the way I see it, there's nothing about decision making.
it's all about milking the swamp dry.
obviously still trying to milk the PM post.
I pretty much no longer care.... I have come to the conclusion that whichever way it goes, NZ will be in for 3yrs of disruption and significant inaction followed by a change in government at the next election.
To me, its lost the political side, its more amusement now. Deja vu Ive said that before, elsewhere here lol
Cant be far off now, the board has gone home, they have documented what they want, and Peters had meetings last night with BE and JA. I assume, to tell them the boards agreed terms. Its now up to the two main parties to offer how far they will go.
We are almost election + one month. 1996 all over again.

I dont think so. It will always take time, and by end of this week its only one week late. However, what could add time is if he goes Labour with the Greens on confidence and supply as the Greens also need to vote, but you would expect JA has done some work on that

The final result and the filling of writs only took place from memory just over two weeks ago. Legally Parliament must resume with in 42 days of the writs so there is time. It's something that should not be rushed I feel.
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Agree.
It sounds close, its now in the hands of the other parties, so NZF have finalised and delivered their offers. If both come back with enough to satisfy NZF both ways, I guess Peters makes the call as the board have agreed on the offers, and no doubt agreed who to go for if both are acceptable, and that decision can be phoned through to the board members

Not the point. Peters has promised and failed twice now to the people of NZ.
I agree with Dunn...no matter what way Peters go it will end prematurely. Peters is a self obsessed liar.

We don't know what the delay is it could well be due to Labour or National or NZ Green.

I wonder how much re negotiating there might be. Nat and Lab both give him what he wants, does he go for more, and end up in a pseudo auction? A concern I have is how much will he cost us? Will his demands exceed his size? Will Nat or Lab have to shelve any of their own policies? NZF deserves concessions but not disproportionate to their size
