They said Johnson was prepared to “squat” in Downing Street even if MPs declare no confidence in his government and agree a caretaker prime minister to replace him. ...

So Johnson's end-game is now clearly to let the European leaders be seen as unreasonable and demanding and have them block the extension he's required to ask for and Brexit just ends up happening.

Boris Johnson has called on the EU to enter detailed talks to "thrash out" its objections to his latest Brexit proposals.

 

The prime minister said the UK plans were a "big concession", but European leaders had not offered specific criticism of his ideas.

 

French President Emmanuel Macron says the EU will decide at the end of the week whether a new deal is possible.

 

Mr Johnson held further telephone calls with EU counterparts on Monday.

 

Meanwhile, a Scottish court has dismissed a call for it to issue an order to compel the PM to comply with a law which would force him to seek a Brexit delay.

 

Under legislation passed by MPs last month - the Benn Act - Mr Johnson must write to the EU requesting a further delay if no deal is signed off by Parliament by 19 October, unless MPs agree to a no-deal Brexit. ...

This is revisionist spin. She did her best to close British coal mines but she wasn't worried about climate change at the time.

Boris goes on to claim Thatcher was trying to unravel the apartheid regime in south africa despite history recording her opposition to sanctions and her description of the ANC as "terrorists".

Graham Norton describes why he left his gig writing for the Telegraph, describing the Telegraph as toxic and as a biased mouthpiece for Boris printing Boris' articles replete with lies and obvious falsehoods that, to Norton, they were too lazy to check.

For example the Telegraph printed an article from Boris in which he said he would solve the 'irish problem' by building a bridge to Ireland from Britain, failing to mention the impossible challenges such an endeavour would face.

I think it's reasonable to say that a No-Deal Brexit would not be good for the large majority either side of the North Sea.

Just wondering what would or might happen if the EU decided to offer an extension (is this even possible?), rather than wait for Boris to (maybe) ask for one?
