I honestly, can't believe these numbers? Did they poll from within the Labour parlimentary staff? I deal with people all day every day as it relates to my work, I can't say I've heard one person say they want JA as PM.
Also if 40% prefer JA, and 9% Bridges, and WP 5%, where is the almost other 50% of votes going? No PM?

With this particular poll respondents can name anyone they want. 'Don't know' will be around 20%. The rest will be spread around names like Key, English, Jones, Clark, etc.
I still struggle to understand where those numbers come from? Whom did they poll. I will admit that my social and work circle might be a small "ish" set of people, but to come across such a small number of people who think she is fit to lead, seems to indicate that her support is largely found in small pockets and that they are only polling those.
I must say I thought it pretty classless of JA to choose the moment Simon Bridges was on stage at the National convention with his family, by choosing the same moment to yet again remind the country she recently gave birth, by rocking said baby with her foot whilst she reminds the country she will be at work next week.

Perhaps - regardless of any margin of error for that poll - it's time to start realising that Bridges has the universal appeal and "common touch" of a cold porridge sandwich served with a side of sardines.

Oh dear. How truly mortifying.

For someone who was mortally upset at being asked about her plans for children on TV, she sure seems to love wheeling the thing out when she feels like some easy media coverage.
"wheeling the thing out "
wow how low can you go This is a human being
Perhaps a human being used as a political accessory?

There is a certain hypocrisy in that.

Low rent comedy answer: I didn't want to assume its gender.
Actual answer: I couldn't remember which special Kayden/kaiden/Kaydyn spelling they'd used for Neeve and I didn't want to spend time looking.

Not mortifying, it isn't really surprising. It's just classless.

I'm damned pleased to hear that. Egalitarianism is a great thing.
