gzt: Not a funnyname breach in this case gulfa referring to this:Stuff: Bridges was discussing Acting Prime Minister Winston Peters' attacks on him and his co-leader when he accidentally uttered the insult. "Winston Peters spends a huge amount of time on me, on Paula Ben, Benefit, Bennett," Bridges said. "Let's start that again," he then laughed.
Personally I've not heard it used as an insult. I heard a newsreader/interviewer misspeak the same a while back. Is it used that way sometimes?
There's something very amusing about all that, a misspelling of Winston(e), a correct spelling of the accidental misspeaking by Bridges - Paula "Benefit" which is actually pretty commonly used by her many detractors - I've heard it said many times. I actually like the fact that Bridges laughed at himself - it shows a human side that's been a bit lacking, IMO.
