But if they remove him from office, they will have Pence. I doubt he would derail a tax cut agenda. If somehow they take out Pence and Trump together they will have President Paul Ryan. He certainly won't block any attempt to cut taxes for the wealthy.

Yeah, that's why it seems a bit disingenuous. Although I do grok their concerns about upsetting Trump's core supporters. That bit does ring true.

Trump also makes George W Bush seem relatively honest. It's possible that despite "sexing up" dubious claims about Saddam's WMD, Blair and GWB "made an error of judgement".

Not so with Trump - he's telling blatant lies about Iran. And in divided America - conservatives are choosing to ignore the fact that those policies are based on lies (Includes ACA sabotage and proposed tax reform)

And he's doing it mainly for revenge against Obama.
