I was watching a year in review, and this story took awhile to come to and end (maybe).

Max Miller: an American Republican politician and former aide to Donald Trump. A member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Conservative from Ohio.

Stephanie Grisham: Trump's ex-White House press secretary.

In 2019-2020, Grisham dated then-Trump White House aide Max Miller. Politico reported that the relationship ended in 2020 after an argument in which Miller allegedly pushed Grisham up against a wall and slapped her in the face after she accused him of infidelity. Miller has denied the report.

George Santos may have accidently told the truth, before being expelled: when Max Miller attacked Santos saying "You sir are a crook", Santos replied "You're a woman beater"

Cleveland.com: Representative Max Miller ends defamation suit against former White House spokesperson Stephanie Grisham

U.S. Representative Max Miller, a Ohio Republican, has voluntarily dismissed a defamation suit he filed against a former girlfriend, ex-White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, for publicly claiming he abused her when they dated.

A journal entry filed Wednesday in Ohio's "Common Pleas Court" said the case has been “dismissed with prejudice” with each side paying their own court costs.

Miller’s 2021 complaint in the case said a Washington Post opinion piece that Grisham published the day the lawsuit was filed made “libelous and defamatory statements” that Miller abused her toward the end of their relationship. He sought compensatory damages in excess of $25,000, as well as the “statutory maximum” punitive damages.

Miller’s denied the abuse claims. The lawsuit said Grisham made them to harm him and to sell more copies of her memoir, titled “I’ll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw at the Trump White House,” which also published that day.

Miller asked the court to order Grisham not to repeat the claims she first made in an op-ed in the Washington Post, including stopping her from discussing it during television interviews she’d scheduled later that day. Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Emily Hagan denied Miller’s request for a temporary restraining order to keep her from talking.

Libertarians are where extreme left and extreme right merge on the political circle. They are often very clever and very naive.

Boston Globe: These American libertarians want to take over New Hampshire. But first, a clothing-optional gun show.

The light haloing the White Mountains of New Hampshire is golden and a human resources professional is explaining the benefits of dropping acid, just a little bit of it, to experience some awe. He is naked, which wasn’t a surprise at this gathering, but unarmed, which was not a given.
...
This year, more than 2,000 people have assembled at this private campground in Lancaster, New Hampshire, for a week of activities ranging from target practice to lectures on police reform to knitting.

All of it — the naked men, the AK-47s, the drugs — is an offering to the idea of liberty, broadly understood. We are standing in a potential libertarian homeland, a Shangri-La where people could come together in pursuit of the fundamental human urge to be free.
...
People in other parts of the campground had been calling me names all week — “presstitute,” “fed,” “deep state agent” — but the nudists were nice, especially the organizer, Jeff, a sweet-faced scientist who believes that if libertarians object to mask mandates, then they should also object to pants mandates. (Jeff requested that his last name be withheld to protect his privacy.)

At other hubs, there are workshops on beekeeping, welding, wound care, tax avoidance, homeschooling, natural birth, growing mushrooms, divination, and gun etiquette.

That was a stupid self-inflicted wound.

New York Times : Nikki Haley’s Confederate Flag Comments Spark Backlash

[Republican precedential candidate] Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor, came under criticism on Friday after she told a conservative radio host that the Confederate flag symbolized “service, sacrifice and heritage” for some people in her state until Dylann S. Roof “hijacked” it.

Mr. Roof, the avowed white supremacist who killed nine black parishioners when he opened fire on the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in June 2015, posed with the flag in several photos before the long-planned attack.

Ms. Haley made her comments on Friday on the [far-right] podcast hosted by Glenn Beck.

I came across a comment from a host that a new company, called "Infestation 88" released their first video game.

The host noted that the suffix "88" was suspicious

I remember the Christchurch mosque terrorist had these on his rifles. He is an Australian national.

You may remember there was a Christchurch Insulation company charges $14.88 per metre for insulation, with apparent white nationalist ties.

Note it could mean a middle aged person born in 1988. In Chinese culture, the number 8 is regarded as one of the luckiest numbers, but typically it's 888 meaning triple fortune.

I looked it up, and "14" and "88" have been commandeered by neo-Nazis.

Wiki: Fourteen Words

Fourteen Words (also abbreviated 14 or 14/88) is a reference to two slogans originated by the defunct white supremacist terrorist organization The Order, and are accompanied by Lane's "88 Precepts". The slogans have served as a rallying cry for militant white nationalists internationally.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2024/01/02/jeffrey-epsteins-list-is-coming-out-who-will-be-named/72083109007/

I wonder who will be on this list? I know Trump had dalliances with this POS back in the 1990s and early 2000s - however:

Epstein also knew Donald Trump well before he became president; there is no indication that Trump's name is in the documents.

In 2002, Trump told New York Magazine, “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

To ham radio operators and other users of Morse code, '88' means 'love and kisses'. It pisses me off that this has been hijacked by fascist morons.

The game has changed it's name. Copious use of 14 and questions to the developers remain unanswered.

If Trump was on that list, it would have been made public immediately after Epstein's Death. I highly doubt he is on it.

Hence my "however" comment - although I do know him and Trump were certainly more than just acquaintances.

Mind you though, so were Epstein and Clinton, but there's nothing to say either former president was involved with Epstein's shady dealings.
