You'd think a key part of the next election strategy would be listing all of these lies, they go on and on.

Therefore election is an easy win for the Democrats. Or an easy win for a different Republican nominee. The flaw in my point, is that this is America

Trump supporters don't care about lists - fact checks are all part of the deep state conspiracy.

The best hope for a Democratic victory is to mobilise the non-voters - a very large group.

PeeWee Herman's evil twin

Yep - I got that, but we shouldn't speak of Peewee's crime against nobody really, in a dark theatre, by himself...

I knew Stephen Miller really reminded me of someone very creepy, some monochrome conversion for effect.

His image strongly reminds me of certain WWII era photos I have seen. All that is missing is the leather greatcoat and the hat with an eagle on it.

Yep. That and the seperated kids issue, that is a couple of majors coming home to roost

There has been a succession of major scandals since before Trump was even elected.

It's made no difference, from that you can probably assume that future scandals will make no difference.

It's not "normal times".  I'm not confident that anything will stop Trump(ists) now - it's too late.

The biggest threat is probably that the US economy tanks.  Unfortunately if that happens, Trump(ists) will blame China or Europe or Soros or Obama, and support for Trump will just get angrier.  I think we're going to see war - history seems to show that's the end game for tyrants.

This is scary stuff. The scary part is I agree with you.

I cant see war. Todays world is different. China, Germany, Japan, Canada, Australia and so on and so on arent into a war. US is scared of a war with NK as China will be there, NK is scared of a war as they will disappear. These days war is a terror state issue. But a massive form of Cold War between the US and everyone else, yes for sure. Two sides US vs Everyone Else. Thats what they seem to be aiming for, protectionalism and isolation. If that happens over time it becomes a reshaping of the world economy, where the US is "just" a country. If it happens quicker, its unstable, and the other nations wuill gravitate to reduce US involvement wherever, = Cold War

The only good thing about the USA political system is that they have elections every two years. Why is this good for us guys? I look forward to watching all the dramas!

Trump's policy of separating children from parents results in this shit.

“Imagine getting a call from your 6-year-old niece. She’s crying and begging me to go get her. She says, ‘I promise I’ll behave, but please get me out of here. I’m all alone.’”

+1's imply approval as well as a agreement. I can't give this a +1.

I also can't quote it. The censor won't let me.

Remember when Republicans claimed to be the party to defend family values? Well this is now the time to step up and show how much they are willing to do to keep families together. This stuff should have people marching and blocking the ICE agents. The ICE agents also need to be reminded that "Just following orders" is not a valid defense.

I treat "+1" differently on posts with hyper-links / URL's.

For me, it means "I clicked on the link, and verified it was legitimate, not click-bait; It's safe to click on."

If there's no link, then it means I agree.

I don't think it's likely either but I wouldn't say it was entirely off the table. As far as "XXX country isn't into a war" goes, half the Middle East and Central & South America will simply chuckle wryly at that thought. They all had America thrust a war upon them.

There's a cliché that Republicans are only interested in family values from conception to birth.

On just following orders, here are rather depressing American psychological studies, that give too much insight into the human psyche:

It's in breach of at least the spirit of the Outer Space Treaty of 1967:

For example, articles I to III of The Treaty:

Article I
The exploration and use of outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies, shall be carried out for the benefit and in the interests of all countries, irrespective of their degree of economic or scientific development, and shall be the province of all mankind.
Outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies, shall be free for exploration and use by all States without discrimination of any kind, on a basis of equality and in accordance with international law, and there shall be free access to all areas of celestial bodies.
There shall be freedom of scientific investigation in outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies, and States shall facilitate and encourage international co-operation in such investigation.

Article II
Outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies, is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, by means of use or occupation, or by any other means.

Article III
States Parties to the Treaty shall carry on activities in the exploration and use of outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies, in accordance with international law, including the Charter of the United Nations, in the interest of maintaining international peace and security and promoting international co-operation and understanding.

Trump:

“It is not enough to merely have an American presence in space. We must have American dominance in space

It's dumb, deliberately provocative, risks the US being labelled a rogue state, but stupid people will love the idea.    It also needs congressional sign-off.  How that goes will be an indication of how deep Trump's takeover of the GOP has become.

I bet when China goes to the Moon the US will claim it's their territory as it has the US flag on it.
