Thinking about switching to Voyager. Anyone knows what router they provide? We only have VDSL at the moment with UFB coming (hopefully) in next 5 months. They say they will upgrade for free to UFB when available. Do they have different routers for UFB/VDSL?

Hello,

They don't provide a router for free, however - They do have a ZyXEL VMG8324 which is their default/supported Router for ADSL/VDSL and Fibre.

But what do you need, just a basic one for mum/dad usage, or do you need something with 802.11AC? Have you got a large house/2 story property and are you expecting amazing wireless?

Cheers,
Scotty

Thanks Scotty. Our house is not really on the big side but something with AC would be preferable. But need to consider the cost of it versus paying extra $10 a month.

As mentioned for DSL they use Zyxel, a really top brand with excellent reliability.

Thanks that is good to know. If I save the $10 a month on 2 year contract, would there be something better for roughly the same cost (e.g. $250-$300)?

I find the NF8AC a better product and it's cheaper.
