One advantage of being relatively old and debt free.  I don't know my credit rating, I don't care what it is, and there's no way on hell I'd be providing my personal details on a credit rating agency website to find out - even from curiosity.

Mine is currently 720 (up from 693 six months ago). Apart from a strange dip down to 623 it's been on an stable/upwards trend since I started subscribing to the service some time ago.

My report like others have posted include enquiries from Vodafone. I also have an enquiry listed from Harmoney (who, interesinghtly, declined to give me a loan at the time).

It also includes monthly payment history for Westpac (former) and Kiwibank (current) credit cards as well as the credit limit on the account. BNZ and Amex not included. Two years of payment history is included. I have apparently two occassions when I was a month behind on credit card bills so perhaps thats driving my score down. When you close an account they keep the history, discarding the oldest month every month until there is no months left.

I requested a report from Veda a few years back and honestly the info they had is not that much different to what Credit Simple has now. Veda had Vodafone as well but not other agencies that I know would have requested my credit history. I should probably request credit reports from the other agencies to compare.

Credit Simple also provies other info (judgements and the like) which they have no info on in relation to myself.

Rookie mistake, use a throwaway email for things you don’t to be bothered about

Agree. I took it lol. Looked to be genuine. My score was through the roof. Ok, I'm not poor, but I every now and then forget the telco bill. My fault I don't care. But a through the roof credit score should mean I am perfect. So, its false.

Just a note for those using Veda. It is now Equifax. Yes, that one...
