Going to Aus and a cruise. Noted that the exchange rate is good at present around 0.92 for $Aus. I have added $NZ credit to my Wise account for the trip. Is there a way to change that into $Aus to take advantage of the rate? Can’t find a way.

I will be using the Wise virtual cards for Apple Pay and so would want the phones to pay out of the Aus account. Am I doing the right thing?

Thanks for any tips.

You using an app or the website?

Edit: Actually they're basically the same. :)

On the Home tab where you can see your total balance you should see the NZD Balance below that and any other currency accounts you may have.
If you can see the + New option there click that otherwise you may need to scroll to the end to see it.

Choose Open a balance, choose the currency you want and Confirm.

That will add it and you can then transfer money between your currencies as needed.

It’s very simple.  In the App or web screen click on your NZ$ account and there should be a range of options which will include convert.  Select that then type in how much NZ$ you want to change and you will see how many A$ you will get less their fee, usually ~$1 for smaller amounts. Alternative type in the A$ amount and it will show how many NZ$ will come out of your NZ account.
