One of the best pieces of advice I have EVER received is to buy a server rack to house my HT gear.

They come up on TM every day and some go for a great deal less than the costly dedicated Atlantic Rack HT systems you see on AVS.

Anyway..having got one and I now getting ready to put my gear init, I really need to put a screen in there so I can see what settings are or just for music palyback.

How do you do it without big cost involved to import dedicated LCD racks.

NOTE: I want a 16x9 19" screen not 4:3 as the picture example.

Added a picture of a typical 42U server rack used for HT - 17" width for standard rack mounting of pro and domestic gear.

In the past I saw a bracket that let you use the 100mm vesa to recess a screen slightly into the rack, It was crazy overpriced like most things with "rack" in the name.

I didnt bother, just put a TV on the wall beside it, bigger, cheaper, actually useful to watch things on.

Here is the thing on Amazon. Its come down a bit but shipping here would be crazy price and locally they were in the $200 range.

Thanks I started to wonder if you just get one of those standard TV wall mount pieces and 'modify' it to work in a rack - hoping of course an LCD screen will just take the screw hole locations on the back..or maybe modify a piece of wood as the buffer?..

Friends coming down from the US may have to add something in their case!
