My VT-55 plasma Panasonic has bit the dust and I have to find a replacement today.

Budget is up to 5K (this is firm).

Any suggestions from people who have just bought new or know people that have bought new.

Any recommendations muchly appreciated.

I need to get things sorted today or I am going to have to start talking to the missus at night so this is a code red gentlemen I repeat a code red.

Edit so far looking at this.

 So I just bought this.

They do have a sale coming up in the next couple of days so I was able to get this one for $3100 which is a big drop and a bonus for me for and oled. I did look at the bigger 4k one but to be honest I doubt I would every really use the capabilities of the 4k.

Reviews of it has given it a solid 8 in most cases so pretty happy with that.
