Hey.
I've just in the process of setting up a HTPC for a friend.
Specs:
Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.1GHz
8GB DDR3-1333
500GB & 1TB SATA HDDs (500GB for photos, music etc & 1TB for Recorded TV)
Siverstone GD06B HTPC case and 500W Enermax PSU
Asus Ivy Bridge mainboard with HDMI and optical output
SATA DVDRW
TBS6984 Quad DVB-S2 PCIe card
Omnikey 3021 USB Smart card reader
Windows 7 64bit HP
DVBLogic TVSource with acamd and oscam
I built a very similar machine a couple of years ago for another friend that is working great using a 1st gen core i3.
The problem I'm having with the new build is with the Sky HD channels not working properly.
All SD channels are fine.
The HD channels don't have sound but picture is good.
If I change from an HD channel to an SD channel the sound stays off.
If I stop live TV and then try view a channel again an image flicks up for a split second then an error appears saying something along the lines of:
"Files needed to display video are not installed or are not working correctly. Restart Windows Media Center or restart the computer"
If I set an HD channel to record the recorded TV file plays back as it should with sound.
Anyone got any ideas where to loook?
Thanks!
