I have been trying to get freeview via Satalite configured on my HTPC

The DVB-S/S2 is a Sundtek SkyTV Ultimate III, because of the linux support. and im using TVheadend for the backend.

I have the 10750 dual throat LNB on a standard Sky dish and have followed the instructions hear on how to add the LNB settings to TVheadend. I've tested the output voltage on the sky decoder and on the DVB-S/S2 both to be 18Volts

dvb_satconf.c

if(!strcmp(id, "Universal")) {
    *f_low    = 10750000;
    *f_hi     = 10750000;
    *f_switch = 10750000;
  }

The frontend status comes back with "No Signal", the mux info is from lyngsat

12456 H DVB-S 22500-3/4
12483 H DVB-S 22500-3/4

adding 000 for tvheadend for kHz

any ideas, it looks like nothing coming back from the LNB but plug it back into sky and all is well...

You don't need to modify the dvb_satconf file, under Satellite config => LNB type you can just set "Circular 10750".

Are you using QPSK for the Constellation?

Yep, I started out with Circular 10750 but due to a bug in tvheadend using the add network button didnt work, I set it back to Circular 10750 and added the mux manually and it picked up the 2 free view, now onto the pay world.

Thanks for that...

Are you using the version of TVheadend from the TVheadend website? I prefer Dushmaniac's builds from the XBMC website, he distributes them as .deb files so they are easy enough to install. They don't have that stupid bug either.

If you're getting Freeview then Sky should be easy enough.
