Can anyone tell me how to make a Panasonic DMR-XW380 Dvd Player/recorder play multi region DVDs? it's set to region 4 but we have mostly region 2 DVDs. I heard you can use a special remote but couldn't find any more specific info on it.

Did you buy it in NZ within the last 11 months?
If so, take it to the certified Panasonic service agent in your area, with a copy of your receipt... and they will multi-region it for you, for no extra charge.
