I have SkyHD and an Onkyo 818 Reciever.

I have Sky -> Onkyo -> TV plus I have Xbox360/Igloo/PS3/AppleTV/RaspberryPI etc all plugged into the Onkyo as well with different inputs.

What I find is every time I turn on the TV/Onkyo in the morning I get no sound (from Sky) until I change channels on the Sky Box. Video works fine . Just no sound (not a HDCP issue)

All other devices work fine regarding sound. its just the SKyHD Box.

Anyone else have similar/same problem? It feels like the Sky Box forgets to send audio after the Onkyo goes into Standby.

before you ask.. yes I've changed the HDMI Cable from Sky a number of times. The Onkyo has the latest firmware. I've changed SKy HDMI output settings a number of times and tried all the Onkyo Input settings as well.

Yes I can plug the Sky Direct into the TV (and no problems occur) but then the AMP doesn't get used for sound (Unless I use Optical output).

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Ah.. so its not the AMP (I didn't think so as every other device plugged into it works 100%) .. Pausing/Unpausing.. never thought about that but it makes sense :-)

Anyone from Sky on Geekzone who wants to comment? or other people who have the problem?
