My LG 32LS4600 only has a ethernet port and no wifi so, the tv is not anywhere near the wireless router, so i was wondering if i can thether internet from my laptop (that is connceted to the interenet via wifi) through a ethernet cable that is plugged in my laptop and the TV

Yup you can do that via connection bridging. I would recommend getting some powerline adapters though.

It will work but it would clearly be a lot easier to get a WiFi bridge or power line Ethernet adapters.

You could get a wifi extender with an external lan port - something like this:

Are you not able to run a cable from the Router to the TV?
I had no problem running a pair of cat5 cables through the floor behind the TV (next to the Sky cable), up an outside wall in a cable duct (same colour as the house cladding) and into my office upstairs where the router is located. Works great for the TV and Media Player and my Blu Ray Recorder has inbuilt WiFi.
Alternatively buy a WiFi dongle for the TV.
