Hi all

I'm considering using a 25m HDMI cable to set sky etc to the master bedroom.

I have looked at an option that has 24AWG

Any issues with this length of HDMi cable? I.e not too long is it?

Hi again, I normally get concerned around 20m, I have never installed a 25m one, but others have had issues.

There are plenty of active options.

I've installed up to 20m without any problems but anything over that would worry me for a standard cable.

You could always buy one that you can return and try it out before installation, otherwise go down the extender route.

IME it depends just as much on the devices as the cable if it will detect and be sparkle free. A premium 10m one was totally useless between my computers onboard and a monitor whereas it was fine from a graphics card or dvd player.

A HDMI repeater isnt expensive and may let you use 2 cheaper cables vs one heavy expensive one.
